Sandbank Excursion

Our experienced skippers know the channels like the back of their hand and they know where to find the most beautiful spots on the mudflats. They are happy to take you on a special trip to the sandbank. When we arrive at the sandbank we disembark with a gangway. With your feet on the bottom of the mudflats is a unique experience, the plate dries up for a few hours a day, as soon as the water is off the plate, we see a rich soil life. The guides tell about life on the bottom of the Wadden Sea. 

For children we have landing nets and buckets, they can indulge themselves at the edge of the plate, they can of course ask the guide anything about their catches. After an hour on the mudflats we go back on board via the gangway. You can choose to go barefoot when the weather is nice or bring a pair of extra shoes that can get dirty from the swallow.
